About Me

 Hi all! My name is Jaclyn. I am the luckiest wife to my handsome fireman husband and mama to a sweet baby boy. I love Jesus, coffee, a good book, health & fitness, and spending time at my family's sweet little cottage in Cape Cod. I started The Engineering Mama to document my journey to "engineer" the happiest and healthiest life possible for my little family -- all while sharing the ups and downs of being a full-time working mom. I'm not sure what exactly this space will evolve into - but I think so often people paint motherhood in a way that is unrealistic. I hope to share a real glimpse into motherhood and my journey to achieve the balance that I so desperately crave.
